Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Faces Elimination
We just received word that Senate Bill 850 is out of committee and goes up for vote on Wednesday, May 6. Senate Bill 850 eliminates all state funding for the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts which would essentially eliminate the Agency. If you haven’t already please sign up for advocacy alerts on the Citizens for the Arts website http://www.citizensfortheartsinpa.org/ and contact your state senator to vote NO on SB850.
