Public Hearings to be held on SB 850
A public hearing will be held Thursday and Friday, May 21 and 22, in Harrisburg. We will talk to experts on the various programs and general spending direction; however, I want to make certain we do hear from the taxpayers. As such, the hearing will be open for public comment on Senate Bill 850 beginning at 10 am Friday, May 22 and continue through the afternoon. Testimony is limited to five minutes. I do understand that it is not convenient for everyone to travel to Harrisburg, so I am accepting written comment through May 26, 2009.
