Save the Arts in PA

The importance of the arts in our society should not have to be explained or defended but unfortunately, in this society we have to go through the hoops to get a few morels of support from the powers that be. Funding the arts is an investment in the future of the next generation. It can be a powerful voice for peace. It enables students to learn other disciplines. For example, do the powers that be know that there is a connection between art and science? Do they realize the connection between art and math? What better way to teach anyone anything, in my opinion. The importance of the arts reflect the state of our society; therefore this society is in bad shape especially if we have to beg for peanuts to help art and artists survive.
